Is this the year of massive (Massive) wasps?
Had the window open today at work and heard what I thought was a distant lawnmower but then I realised the noise was now in the room. I looked around and saw a MASSIVE GIGANTIC ENORMOUS wasp offering me out.

Instinctively, I launched at it with a box of Twinings peppermint tea and caught it smack in the gob, leaving it dazed on the windowsill before scooping it up with 2 sheets of A3 paper and chucking it out the window.

I had to call the RAF and get them to call off the Typhoons that they had already scrambled to take it down.

It was MASSIVE. Very bright yellow jacket. Cover your pints, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Food for thought. I saw a massive one yesterday.

Did you by any chance see the miniature Putin sitting astride it?

Didn't see any last year. You'd have to be pretty pissed of being a bee, having to work your nuts for the hive, then when you get a chance to sting, you rip your arse off. Where a wasp enjoys nothing better then causing havoc in a beer garden, always a funny sight.

They've been hiding in dead mammoths.

Wasps are the only thing in the world my daughter is wary/frightened of.

Otherwise she is a slow-blinking, stone cold psychopath of a woman. I am very proud of her.

I've been doing some research Nurse, it wasn't quite as big as these hornets but it was a big beast.

They are natures DRONES and are made of plastic.

I already educated the users of this site several years ago, of the fact that wasps are made of plastic.

Get yer own material.

Nurse, I wouldn't show her those pictures if that's the case.

Honestly, I don't believe in reincarnation but if I did, I'd be sure that Hitler came back as a wasp. Bees on the other hand, I don't mind. I don't even mind if they settle on me. But a bit of waspage...they can f*ck right off. KILL OR BE KILLED

'85, I wish you luck.

As soon as ohgodno sees your anti-wasp, pro-bee comments, you are done for.

Re: Is this the year of massive (MASSIVE) WASPS?
my party trick is catching a wasp and carefully extracting its sting whilst still alive, then releasing it to buzz around scaring people who now have no reason to be scared of it

Re: Is this the year of massive (MASSIVE) WASPS?
Ruthless little bastards. We had a nest under the porch a while back, and one day I saw a large spider just hanging on a thread, dead, with a couple of wasps around it. Didn't even bother chopping it up for food just killed it and left it dangling there, executed.

In other wasp type news the hornets in southern Europe are fucking enormous.

Re: Is this the year of massive (MASSIVE) WASPS?
You should have captured it and dropped it down the fat blokes back next home gams. Now watching Allardyce explode would make up for probably the worst run ever
